As much as we love going au-natural and being able to say, “we (kind of) woke up like this,” the new season calls for fun, flirty makeup. That’s code for color. The broader the spectrum, the better. Break out your colorful liners and shimmer shadows and get ready to play.
1. Bold and brilliant. Line your lashes, top and bottom, with a burst of color. Think teal, lavender and cranberry shadows and liners. Defining eyes with bright hues illuminates and enlarges their look.
2. Pinks and peaches. Incorporate spring hues in an OG way. Use a poppy blush you already own to double as your shadow. You’re saving money with a shade you know works well with your skin tone. Who doesn’t love a Pretty In Pink moment?
3. Shimmer and metallic. We like to think of this trend as sophisticated sparkle. Feeling timid? Dust on a little silver or champagne shimmer that catches the light just right. Ready to go all out? We love gold lids using a creamy eyeshadow. Apply with your finger and layer to unleash your inner rockstar.
